Give word of mouth a next step
Your customers know people who could use your services. Give them a simple way to make an introduction, then give your team a clear path to follow up. Referral Engine adds customer referral capture and tracking to the Patient10x Reviews platform you already use.
Good recommendations get lost
A customer mentions a friend. A name lands in an inbox. Someone means to follow up, but the conversation stalls. Without a shared process, your team has to piece together who was referred and what happened next. Referral Engine gives those introductions a place to go.
Make the introduction easier
An optional invitation in supported positive-feedback flows lets customers share a person's name and contact details. They can recommend someone who could benefit from your services or skip the invitation without submitting a referral.
Let recipients choose
Staff can send an initial SMS or email invitation linking to your business's recipient page. The referred person can learn who you are, affirm interest, and agree to service-related contact. A shared name is not treated as a confirmed customer.
Keep follow-up visible
Review referrals in a shared pipeline, add internal notes, and update their progress as your team follows up. Location filters help you focus on the right branch without hunting through scattered messages.
How it works
Enable the invitation
Turn on referrals for the location you want to support. In supported survey journeys, customers who report a positive experience can reach an optional referral invitation.
Capture the introduction
Customers enter a name with a phone number or email address. Submitted referrals appear in your team's pipeline, ready for review.
Invite an interest check
After reviewing contact permissions, staff send an initial SMS or email with a recipient-page link. The recipient can confirm interest and agree to be contacted about your services.
Follow up and track
Use notes and status updates to record your team's next steps. Staff mark contacted, booked, or archived outcomes in the platform; the engine does not book services for you.
An invitation, not an assumption
A recommendation can open a conversation, but it is not permission for unlimited marketing. Your team remains responsible for contact permissions and appropriate outreach. The recipient page provides a clear step for affirming interest in your services.
Does a customer have to post a Google review?
The referral invitation is part of supported positive-feedback survey journeys when referrals are enabled. It is not triggered by verification of a published Google review. The route depends on your request settings, and customers can skip the invitation. Keep public review requests separate from incentives or rewards.
Are referred people contacted automatically?
No. Staff initiate the SMS or email invitation from the referral dashboard. That initial message links to a page where the recipient can affirm interest and agree to service-related contact. The referral form does not verify prior permission to share contact details, so review permissions and applicable outreach requirements before sending.
What does referral tracking actually show?
The pipeline shows referral records, status counts, and internal notes. The status labeled interested is set when initial outreach is sent; recipient confirmation sets consented. Staff update contacted, booked, or archived statuses. These are workflow records, not automatic appointment verification, CRM synchronization, or revenue attribution.
Can we manage referrals across locations?
Yes. Referrals are associated with a location, and authorized teams can filter their organization's referral list and metrics by location. You can enable the invitation for selected branches and manage follow-up in the same platform.
Is Referral Engine a separate product to manage?
No. It is an optional upgrade within Patient10x Reviews, alongside your reputation-management workspace. Your team uses the same platform to review referrals, send initial invitations, add notes, and track progress. You do not need the video or charity upgrades to use it.
